An interesting combination that Colleen has given out this week. It is like writing an oxymoron to write about joy and fury in one haiku or tanka.
This is what popped into my evil mind this week:

What joy can there be
When veins bear evil fury?
Naught this mind infers!

There is a lot of fury in your tanka, and frightening symbolism in the imagery!
