Terri over at Second Wind Leisure Perspectives is still being kind to me with her Sunday Stills prompts. This week it is triangular manifestations and I just happen to have a few little figurines who fit into this category.
Up first is the baby cookie monster from Sir Chocolate and the Baby Cookie Monster story and cookbook. He has a saw-like nose that he uses to cut up confectionery and biscuits.
You can join in the fun here: https://secondwindleisure.com/2019/07/28/sunday-stills-triangular-manifestation/
These are four gingerbread houses I made for my Sir Chocolate series of books. I made them all over the course of one weekend. I’ll bet you don’t know anyone else quite that crazy.
Here is the gingerbread church I made for a forthcoming book, Sir Chocolate and the new gingerbread church story and cookbook. The church spire is a triangle. Boy, was this church difficult to make.
Last, but not least, here is a triangular wizard hat house that Sir Chocolate created for Halloween.
Have a happy new week.
Robbie
PS, I started a new cake project today. It is a teddy bears picnic for my mum’s forthcoming 81st birthday.
Love ❤️ this , Robbie.

❤️❤️ So wonderful! Robbie, the church builder! You should make an apprenticeship in the Vatican. They need someone building churches, because bridge builders are out. Lol Best wishes, Michael

Haha, thank you, Michael. I am sure they want something more durable than gingerbread. Have a great week.

These are so cute and quite amazing, Robbie! 4 gingerbread houses in one weekend? Wow! Glad you could link again for Sunday Stills!

Thank you, Terri. I don’t recommend trying to make four houses in one weekend. It was quite exhausting. One of my crazy moments.

Thanks Bette, I have bought a giant cake tin so that I can create a children’s park.

I loved the song Teddy Bear’s Picnic. I can’t wait to see the cake. As a child I had a plastic place mat of the picnic.

I also love the song, Elizabeth. I am sure I would have liked that plastic mat too.

Great pics, Robbie. I couldn’t think of anything triangular this week, so didn’t take part.

I did notice that you didn’t post, Stevie. I just scrolled through my photographs and looked for triangle shapes in a most expansive way 😉

That baby cookie monster looked yummy. I can’t find good shortbread anywhere (and I have decide you used shortbread).

I did use shortbread. I have a lovely and easy recipe which I can send you if you want.

Spoken like a true man, Rob. The saying “the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” is totally true, in my house anyway. Hugs.

This is a delicious post, Robbie!!! Time flies by too fast. It seems like yesterday when you made the hibiscus cake for your mum’s 80th birthday.

Yes, I know, Miriam. Time passes so quickly which is why we have to make the most of it.

I don’t know anyone else who would make four gingerbread houses in a year, let alone a weekend, Robbie. 😂 They are gorgeous, but I think I like the wizard’s hat the most. I look forward to seeing your mum’s birthday cake. I hope she has a wonderful day.

Making four houses in one weekend was jolly hard work. At had it in my head that I should make a village but then I realised it wouldn’t photograph well anyway so I stopped at four. The hat cake was fun to make.

A whole village! That would be a task. 🙂
