John Rieber will know. If you don’t know yet, enjoy the doors on the trucks.

Have you worked out where I am yet?

This video shows a man cooking crab legs with a blow torch. And now you know where I am.

Lots of hustle and bustle at the Tokyo fish market:
Next week there is no Thursday Doors. I am planning to share a little surprise our guide showed us in this market. I will be going into hospital on Friday, 4 April for a sinus operation. Wish me well – I am terrified.

What a great place to visit. Good luck with the operation Robbie.
Hi John, I did taste some things: a sweet Japanese omelette, fish soup, a spinach fish cake and a sweet corn fishcake and beef wagu on a small stick. It was all delicious.
I guessed the Fish Market from the huge fish in the first photo. I always think it is sad to see live fish/crabs for sale, but it must have been an experience to see the market. Good luck with the sinus surgery.
Best wishes, Pete.
What fun Robbie. I love fish and even eat kelp! I’ve had some sinus operations myself. I’ll be sending you lots of good Reiki healing energy. Sending you bit hugs. ❤️
This reminds me of Seattle only much more crowded! I’ve never seen so many packages of kelp. I’ve never bought any either! The mishmash of wires was an interesting shot you don’t see everywhere!
I’ll be thinking and praying about your operation. After it’s over, you will be glad. It’s nice to be able to breathe. xxxx
You would love Seattle. If you ever get there, I’ll fly up and join you. My first husband was from there. I haven’t been for about 15 years or so for a National Conference held there.
I love seafood and always enjoy a large lively fish market. Not sure about the giant tentacles though! I hope all goes well with your surgery, Robbie. Use the opportunity to be pampered a little. ❤ ❤
Thank you, Diana. Human Resources says I may not work for the full seven days I’m booked off. I’m quite looking forward to that part 🤗. I am not mad about shellfish like mussels and oysters. I did enjoy this vibrant market.
Brilliant photos as always Robbie and thank you for sharing… I am sure you are in the best of hands for your operation next Friday and will be thinking of you. ♥
I’m really enjoying your tour of Japan.
Good luck with the surgery Robbie. It’s hard to stay calm about such things. Will be sending good thoughts. (K)
The crab legs are huge! Can you imagine the size of the monster crabs? The overhead cables are so messy, something we are not used to here. Holding good thoughts for you and the surgery.
Thank you, Tandy. I thought the cables looked like our illegal connections so I was surprised. Japan is so orderly and these were not in keeping with the general neatness. The crabs were amazing. Fish was so cheap there, even lobster.
Good luck with the operation, Robbie. Sending you positive thoughts and energy. Do take care, and thanks for sharing this wonderful and original market.
That’s a lot of doors and busy, Robbie.. I’m not sure about all of those smells..they should have opened up your sinus cavities for sure. Oh my.. good luck and you’ve tried all of the sinus release etc, I’m certain. Sending fast healing! ❤️🩹
I have a deviated septum and it’s resulted in very little drainage on the right. I keep getting sinus and ear infections so I have no choice about this operation really. It’s getting worse. It will be fine – I’m just a baby.
Good luck with the sinus op, Robbie I love your images we have power lines like that I always wonder how the elctricians know which wire is which although I sure at times they don’t-hysterical laugh-
It sounds a little like here Robbie,,, where I live most of the cables are underground they are slowly as a country aiming to tidy up the cables but like you in some places they are a maze and definitely not safe plus a fire hazard..x
I’m so sorry to hear of your upcoming surgery, Robbie! I don’t blame you for being terrified; surgery is a tough thing to endure. I definitely will be hoping for an easy time of it for you. As for all the fish, I can’t even imagine such a market! I’m a big fan of fish, though, and now I’m hungry!
Hi Maureen, thank you for your well wishes. It will be fine, I’ve just seen to many surgeries with poor results (Michael’s had 24 operations and Gregory 18). It makes me anxious. The fish market was amazing.
What a great place to visit. Good luck with the operation Robbie.

Delightful post, Robbie. The photos are great, doors or not I liked them.
There is Thursday Doors next week, but not the week after. I try to give some advance notice, but it always confuses people. Someday, I’ll learn.

Hi Carol, I think the powerlines looked very unsafe. We have this in the informal settlements and sometimes fires break out.
