My good friend, Steve Bottch has been writing some delightful stories for his grandchildren who he has not seen much because of covid. His latest story is called A Frog, A Hog and A Dog. Steve has drawn his own lovely illustrations, but the story appealed to me so I decided to make my own fondant frog, hog and dog and link it to his story. You can read it here: https://srbottch.com/2021/06/02/a-frog-a-hog-and-a-dog/

Say Hi to the Hog:
Meet the dogs, not one, but two:
These are great, Robbie!

Your fondant skills are excellent, Robbie! Such detail. I’ll head over to his story next. Rhyming was always one of the best methods for teaching my children to read early. 🙂

Hi Mary Jo, thank you for your kind comment. I am also a rhyming verse fan for children and that is why the Sir Choc books were all written using rhyming verse. Michael and Gregory grew up with Dr Seuss.

I love the bull mastiff the best. Have you ever modeled Pete’s dog Ollie? You do the wrinkly skin very well. Does fondant keep or are these temporary?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Hi Elizabeth, watch this space. Ollie lookalike is coming up. Fondant does keep for a long time, a couple of years, but not indefinitely.
