Travel challenge day 3

I was nominated by my blogging friends Darlene Foster and Carol Taylor and  to post one favourite travel picture a day for ten days without explanation, then to nominate someone else to participate. That’s 10 days, 10 travel pictures, and 10 nominations. It doesn´t have to be 10 consecutive days. Thanks, Carol and Darlene!

My day 2 travel post, which you can see here: features the Pilanesberg National Park & Game Reserve situated between the Kalahari desert and the Lowveld in South Africa. You can find out more about this game reserve here:

Here are my pictures for today, also from a South African site.

Today I nominated who have a lovely blog where they share travel pictures and posts about healthy living and other related articles.

  1. When I was very young I read some accounts of English cricket players on South African tours and how the countryside impacted on them so much. Those stories stayed in my mind and were augmented when later I read novels by Wilbur Smith. Your photos bring those mental images of your part of the world to life. Thank you for sharing them.

  2. Gorgeous shots, Robbie. I am waiting to find out where this is. I am pretty sure my daughter visited there when she went to South Africa a few years ago.
