I was nominated by my blogging friends Darlene Foster and Carol Taylor and to post one favourite travel picture a day for ten days without explanation, then to nominate someone else to participate. That’s 10 days, 10 travel pictures, and 10 nominations. It doesn´t have to be 10 consecutive days. Thanks, Carol and Darlene!
My day 2 travel post, which you can see here: https://robbiesinspiration.wordpress.com/2021/01/16/travel-challenge-day-2/ features the Pilanesberg National Park & Game Reserve situated between the Kalahari desert and the Lowveld in South Africa. You can find out more about this game reserve here: https://www.pilanesbergnationalpark.org/
Here are my pictures for today, also from a South African site.

Today I nominated https://markusundmicah.com/ who have a lovely blog where they share travel pictures and posts about healthy living and other related articles.
South Africa certainly has some stunning scenery, Robbie just beautiful 🙂 x

When I was very young I read some accounts of English cricket players on South African tours and how the countryside impacted on them so much. Those stories stayed in my mind and were augmented when later I read novels by Wilbur Smith. Your photos bring those mental images of your part of the world to life. Thank you for sharing them.

Such beautiful scenery. I almost went to visit South Africa about a decade ago. Ended up staying home. Those are the sights I wanted to see.

South Africa has a lot of natural beauty and wildlife on offer, Jacqui. The USA also has terrific natural sites so staying home isn’t all bad.

Pilanesberg is where we also saw the white rhino! I’m trying not to spoil it for others.
This particular spot I’ve not been to as an adult.

Thank you, Tandy. I love Pilanesberg. I prefer it to the Kruger. I have only visited this spot once, Tandy, during a trip to Clarens in 2017.
