I am lucky, Pete, I travelled to Finland and Budapest with Terence when he went for business purposes. I went to enjoy myself – smile.

HI Terri, I do love Europe and visiting these old and fascinating cities with all their history. The diorama kept me occupied before Christmas which was a good thing, given we couldn’t go out much.

Great light photos! I like the ferris wheel the best, with what I think is the moon shining down.

Yes, it is the moon, Liz. Budapest was very pretty at night time.

I was wondering because the shape looked ragged.

I see what you mean, Liz. Hmmm! I am sure it is the moon though. It was probably my camera that distorted it a bit.

I had not seen the lit gingerbread village, so I am glad you posted it. It was truly lovely. (Terence is quite cute also!!)

Yes, it does look normal, Jacqui. I think ‘normal’ has changed forever, personally.

I think so. Part of me is OK with that. The part that hates change isn’t.

It will be much later this year for us, Miriam. We have no vaccinations as yet. I live in hope though and we have another local trip planned for a bit later this year.

The show was terrific, Jim. Terence loves it too. I love Phantom of the opera more, but Terence, dear man, has already seen this three times, so it really was his turn.

My favorite plays are Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Camelot…

Light at night give a whole new view. I took my tree down, but strung the light along the windows to wait for spring. (K)

Light at night does make things look rather lovely and pretty, Kerfe. I have never experienced such darkness as I did when we were away recently. It was overcast so there were no stars and it was so dark, not a light in sight.

I wondered where you were and it was hot…thinking you might have been in the southern hemisphere where I am. I do not take many night photos at all but like you found a few in my photo history. The ‘not normal ‘ of covid is very trying. Sending my best wishes to you from Australia.
