How did we come up with the idea for Sir Chocolate and the Ice cream Rainbow Fairies story and cookbook
Michael and I came up with the idea for Sir Chocolate and the Ice cream Rainbow Fairies during our family’s trip to New Zealand in August 2016. My older son, Gregory, was representing South Africa in the finals of the Kid’s Literature Quiz that were hosted in Auckland that year.
My husband, my younger son, Michael, and I booked a self-catering unit for our six day stay in Auckland. Greg was accommodated with his teammates and the other kids competing in the competition in a hostel. It was the smallest unit I have ever seen while travelling.
