YouTube Reading and a YouTube recipe

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well and surviving the lock down. I must be honest, if it wasn’t for the economic impact on the world of this staying at home thing, I could be a really happy person. No interruptions, no coffee breaks, internal meetings where I can do my fondant while diligently listening instead of doodling all over a piece of paper. I can never keep my hands and fingers still during meetings and I often bit my nails. I find doing my fondant art while listening very calming.

It could be the perfect life except that a lot of things have stopped and that isn’t good for the world at large.

Anyhow, I have posted another Sir Chocolate free PDF audio book reading to my YouTube site today. I am reading The Marzipan Witch and the golden swan. You can download the illustrated PDF here:

The golden swan

I have also posted a recipe video for the Buffalo Coconut buns from Sir Chocolate and the Fondant Five story and cookbook.

      1. Hi Sumith, we are find but all staying at home. The defense force is on the streets making sure people abide the lock down. I hope it ends soon. You too, stay well. I am glad you are all safe.

  1. You’re a natural at telling children’s stories, Robbie. Well done on producing a video. The apple pie recipe at the ending is very tempting.
I’ve sent details of the video to my niece, who has a 2-year-old daughter, my great-niece.

BTW – just a note on your video for the Buffalo coconut cakes, when clicking the play button, the video begins at the 2 min 20seconds point (and not at the beginning). Just thought I’d mention it, so you change the time setting from YouTube.

    1. Hi Liz, all of the stories have an adventure. In that one, the Fondant Five are kidnapped so that they can decorate a wedding cake. Sir Chocolate and his friends have to save them. If you would like a PDF copy to read, please let me know.

  2. How cool, Robbie! I mostly work from home, myself and it’s great to not have interruptions. I do miss being on campus, but this too shall pass. Glad to see you are getting things done. Your fondant look wonderful!
