Death
It’s hard to console
Those from whom death has stolen
The light of their lives
It is best to invest time
In those lights while they still burn

Good advice. It can all end before we realize it.

I agree, Frank. That is why I try to make the most of my family while they are all still with us.

Robbie, your poem is deep and true.
I feel both thoughts are important. To be there whilst the light is burning but also find courage and wisdom to console.

Few words – which get to the crux – thanks Robbie. But mourn we must for those no longer –

Thank you, Susan. I hope that if we appreciate our elderly during their lives we can let them go a bit easier and, at least, without regrets.

Splendid poem on death, Robbie. We need to give time to our family and friends too, who knows when the time will come to depart. Why not enjoy our life that is given to us.

Absolutely, Lamal. We must enjoy people while they are still here to be with us.

Good advice, Robbie! In these days of the virus, too. Best wishes, Michael

You are right, Michael. This virus has everyone in a panic. Stay well, my friend. Hugs.

Thank you, Robbie! You too. Honestly i think its only a test, done by someone registering how fast a pandemia will happen. Take care of you and yours. In the worst case i will dig a deep hole (with online connection included). Much more time for reading. 😉 Michael

A bright, to-the-point poem. May we celebrate the light of those with us. And believe that the light still shines in those who have gone.

We surely never know anything about the future, but we can certainly enjoy people in the present. Great reminder.
