Nature is full of difference. Each snowflake has a different pattern, each tree has a different shape and each flower has a slightly different colour. I look up at the stars, each one a twinkling sequin in the dark sky, all different sizes. So why then, do we think people should all be the same? Why must we all fit into the same mould, be square pegs in a square hole? What is wrong with a round peg?
Difference is great
It keeps the world interesting
It’s just like artwork
or a splendid orchestra
Life isn’t all black and white

Thank you, Susan. That was exactly my point with the references to artwork and music. All created by difference.

I know, Miriam. It is so simple and yet, people find acceptance of this idea so hard.

I see them all the time, Robbie. I also ask myself if I can accept all the differences!!
