Every week, photographer Terri Webster Schrandt hosts a photograph challenge called Sunday Stills. I usually pop in and admire her photographs but this week her theme is Its a dog’s life. This appeals to me although I don’t own a dog and haven’t for years and years, I do like making dogs out of fondant. I thought I would join in this week and share my pictures of fondant dogs.
Great Dane
Border Collie
Poodle
Schnauzer
Pug
King Charles Spaniel
You can join in Terri’s photograph challenge here: https://secondwindleisure.com/2019/04/28/sunday-stills-its-a-dogs-life
OMG, these are so adorable. I like the pug the most but I love them all. Since we got our dog, Dot, three years ago, I love all things dog! My grandsons have a pug.

Thank you, Darlene. I had a poodle so I have a soft spot for that one. It was when I was a young girl. We haven’t had dogs for a while now.

My sister would love the poodle as she has a white poodle – a bit more mischievous than the fondant version.

Yes, I am sure. We had a poodle a long time ago so I have a soft spot for that one.

Robbie, these dogs are as sweet as they look and simply adorable! Love them all but the border collie speaks (woofs) to me 🙂 I’m so glad you could participate with your incredible talent today for Sunday Stills!

Those are so good. I saw a poodle made from meringue at a patisserie a few days ago.

Thank you, Tandy. From meringue is impressive. I always find meringue difficult to work with.

Oh I loved these Robbie! You ever do a sheep dog? I think that one might prove to be hard. What do you think?

I have not made a sheep dog, Wayne, but I have thought about it. I think it will be an interesting challenge to make one.

I can’t believe the things you can do with fondant , Robbie. A couple of them look porcelain.
