#Poetrychallenge – Poet’s choice of words

IMG_0001

I just happened to write these two poems today. They popped into my head, one after the other, this morning. Luckily for me it is poet’s choice this week so I can use these for Colleen’s challenge.

The cause

Slapping a plaster

over a wound spurting blood

will do little good

identifying the cause

may help to staunch the bleeding

Does it?

Can you see the light

At the end of the tunnel?

Does it shine brightly?

Does it beckon you strongly?

Or does it weakly waver?

      1. I know what you mean. Sometime the poetry came when I was driving and I had to find a place to park the car to write it before I forget, even though I could record it on the phone but just play safe to stop the car.
