#Baking – a gingerbread house or six

Carol Taylor Over at Retired, no one told me blog has written a lovely post about Christmas traditions and treats. You can read it here: https://carolcooks2.com/2018/11/23/christmas-traditions-treats-and-a-touch-of-trivia-2/?fbclid=IwAR2kT5Qqg6fSdQpjkWQ7LrC_NTYvuTO9kwYE9QRiAJCU6nsrtmipb-XRKL0.

Carol wondered if any of her readers made a gingerbread house every year and, as I do, and often more than one in a year, I though I would share a few of my gingerbread artworks today.

    1. Thank you for the inspiration, Carol. I have some tricks for making gingerbread houses that makes it much easier. One being bake the gingerbread in slabs and then cut out the pieces from the warm biscuit. I look forward to reading your post next week.

  2. Robbie, you are an artist with baking. So lovely and imaginative houses you built. It is a tradition in Sweden too and I used to do more then. Still bake shaped “pepparkaka” which is similar to gingerbread men but have more cinnamon in.
    Soon time for those again.
