A little catch up

As many of you know, I now have two blogs, this one, robbiesinspiration, is mainly for book reviews and book chats and discussions, my new blog bakeandwrite is for my creative writing, freestyle poetry and book stuff. You can read my latest poem here: https://bakeandwrite.co.za/photoprompt-be-careful-what-you-wish-for/

This coming weekend I am participating in an author event in Lynnwood, Pretoria. There are 50 authors attending and I am demonstrating how to build a chocolate house. What fun. Here is the advert I created:

Pop up fair

This is my entry for Terri Webster Schrandt’s Sunday Stills photograph challenge – Can you capture the wind

This photograph was taken at Whitstable in the UK last year. What a lovely day we had in this beautiful old sea town.

Have a lovely evening.

    1. It is a new thing, Bella. I am going to run out of photograph space on this blog so I decided to start a paid blog that didn’t have a space limit. I am hoping to gradually move all my friends over to the new blog. There is not rush as I will still use this one for the remainder of this year, but eventually I will only have the new one.

  1. Robbie, have a fabulous time at the author event and enjoy the chocolate house building. Are you making lots of these with the people attending, or showcasing how to make one? I love the photo and was thinking how much this looked like the East coast and then saw it is from the beautiful Whitstable – a place I love to visit! Popping over to read your poem … still getting used to your two blogs! Happy weekend & baking! 😃

    1. Thank you, Annika. I am demonstrating so I will only be showing the kids how. They, unfortunately, won’t be making this time around. I am planning an event at home so the children can build their own; time is my biggest nemesis.

      1. That makes good sense, Robbie … I was picturing the total chaos if every passerby was to try and make a bit of one! Have lots of fun … now we only have to discover a way to carve more time out! 😀

  2. I kept getting comments from you, but could no longer find your blog (directly from the comments section). I had to scroll quite a bit today through my “feed” to find you… so glad this was the post I happened upon. I am going to add the other blog as well. I was missing you 🙂

    1. Thank you, Sumyanna, I am enjoying have you back with your lovely poems and photographs too. You can find the new blog through my picture. If you click on the photograph it will bring up the gravatar and beneath my picture you will find a link to my new blog.

  3. I hope you had a great time! Maybe I’ll see as I’m catching up (sorry, I got a little behind with a crazy stressful time at work!! But, you always know I’ll be back again to spam up you comments section with my nonsense because I move your blog!! Heading over to your other to do the same so I can read your new poem!) 💖🍻
