#Poetrychallenge – Dry and Wet: My first cinquain

This week Colleen has requested a poem using synonyms for the words dry and wet. I have never written a cinquain but there is not time like the present for learning. I followed Colleen’s instructions very carefully and hope I got it right. You can read Colleen’s instructions here: https://colleenchesebro.com/how-to-write-a-cinquain-poem/

Moisture

Fat, sparkling drops

Like tears they are falling

Saturating the parched earth

Wetly

  1. Well done, Robbie! A perfect cinquain! ❤ These cinquains are addicting to write. Once you are comfortable try some of the other syllable structured cinquains. They become very expressive because of the structure.
