#Writephoto – Sight – a poem

Sue Vincent has come up with this incredible photograph to inspire us this week. You can participate by following this link: https://scvincent.com/2017/08/31/thursday-photo-prompt-sight-writephoto/

This is my poetic contribution:

Tunnel vision

To achieve

and reach the top,

Gain forward momentum

no-one can stop,

To gain knowledge

that others seek,

To be someone

with whom others

wish to speak,

To resolve problems

seen to be unsolvable,

To see clearly

that which to others

is still debatable,

To do this requires

great single-mindedness,

A will of iron

and ability to work

with great relentlessness,

To sight a goal

with great precision,

The achievement of which

requires tunnel vision.

  1. Your ending line was like a bullet – well done and connected that gritty pursuit to the tunnel vision needed and was perfect with the cool photo –
And so I see more of what u think about while you create all of your art! Hah
