Very cute, Robbie – love her green eyes and her sweet little smile.
When I read the words “good witch” I immediately think Dorothy, the Wizard of Oz, follow the yellow brick road and Glenda the Good (who practically looks like The Blue Fairy) – and yet this little smiling witch is still dressed in black.
Do we have to read the story to know why she a good witch?
Also, if you eat black fondant does it turn your tongue or teeth black?

mgh

I did dress her in black as I was thinking of Winnie the Witch, who is a good witch but still has the look and feel of a witch and rides a broomstick with her black cat on the back. There is a story that goes with this little witch. The link is here https://robbiesinspiration.wordpress.com/2017/01/15/swan-writephoto-the-marzipan-witch-and-the-golden-swans/?frame-nonce=65a3af2199. Unfortunately, both red and black fondant do stain your teeth and tongue but not for long. Thanks for your interest, Madelyn.

I don’t know Winnie the Witch. Maybe not a story around when I was a kid (or in America)?
Re: staining — I was recalling purple and black jelly beans from childhood Easter baskets. I don’t recall if the red ones stained as well, probably because a reddish tint was not as strange a color for lips and tongue. lol

Winnie the Witch is a fairly new book series and is very popular. I only know it because of Michael who absolutely loves it. The stain would be the same as those jelly beans of your childhood. I actually buy ready made black fondant because it makes a bit of a mess when you make it yourself. Have a lovely weekend, Madelyn.

I’m going to cut to the chase here after a glass of wine. In addition to the brilliance of your figures ….the title is ace. It has its own magic re good witches and how to make them x

Ah Shey, you are a very clever lady. You are the only person who picked up the word play in the title.
